Your Favorite iPad Apps?

Hey guys,

I just bought an iPad today for an iPad design project I might start working on soon. I'm new to the platform, so I was hoping I could get some inspiration from any cool apps you guys could recommend. I'd need to catch up to speed really fast.

What iPad apps are your favorite because they're (any combination of the following):

- super fun
- super userful
- super user-friendly
- gorgeous to look at
- mind-blowing revolutionary
- dammit, can't stop playing with it
- so damn cool, futuristic and sci fi...
- etc.

Games, productivity apps, music apps, whatever. Free or paid (unless it's super pricey). I'm just looking to fill my iPad with the best use cases of this new technology. Any gems you could point me towards would be much appreciated!

flipboard (free)
angry birds HD
airvideo ( best one of all)
reeder
tweetdeck
mypantone
air display (cant wait for the pc version )
3d creative
3d artist
ibook
flixster (movies)
bump
keynote
epicurious
these i use most days. i have loads more but those are not as good or are iphone apps using the x2

edit: mobile mouse is cool too very slick for controlling your PC oh and weatherPro HD

I've got an iphone rather than an ipad but i beleive the apps are pretty much the same.

- Angry Birds
- Shazam
- Paypal
- Skype
- News (BBC, STV, Sky)
- Fatbooth :)

STRAT, that pottery game you suggested is awesome! Wonderful UI and a fun use of iPad tech.

I'm well into the decent tower defence games on the iPhone...

These provide strategic gameplay along with longevity and dont usually require decent graphics, just good balanced gameplay...
