Nothing that is on the marketplace (yet). Working on two things. One for a company and one idea from someone else I'm developing an app for. Just to get to know the development tools and api's.

I got the developer account yesterday, just to be able to publish that single application i've been working on. More will probaly follow :)

ps: did you discover this already? http://silverlight.codeplex.com/releases/view/75888
It puzzled me why some of those often used controls were not included in visual studio for WP ...

Nice, can you share which application?

I know the toolkit :-), quite essential for fast development. Still not entirely satisfied with the controls theynoffer, but it's a start.

Also look at this extention one of my colleagues created:http://vdcruijsen.net/2011/12/tutorial-how-to-use-the-silverlight-toolkit-transitions-without-writing-xaml-by-using-the-toolkit-behavior-extensions/

None. You can use the XNA framework for 3d and game development. Microsoft is currently working on native access to the devices for developers, so they can run native code. But it's not sure if and when this will be available.

@as, XNA is managed DirectX. So no DirectX at this point on WP7. The emulator requires DirectX 10.1.

WP8 or maybe WP9, will share the same kernel as Windows 8/9. So thing might change then.

had a quick look around. would imagine dx11 will be available on phone8 as the os is sync'd across platforms but will have to wait & see. phone7 isn't interesting to me but then I don't have time to play with it anyway. p8 should turn up just in time :) thanks h.

personally have no interest in xna as I don't want a c# wrapper I need native directx access.

@hiostu: a guitar chord generator thingy

Base functionality has been finished since last week, but i still have alot of tweaking to do on usability etc ... And it will be a huge challenge to make it look good, its been a long while since i did any design, and i was never very good at it either.

Have you downloaded expression blend? It helps a bit in making the designs for the apps. And you can easily switch between Visual Studio and Blend.

Must say that design is also my weakest area...
