Which is a best way to create this?

Ok, here in link is max. file with my works.

I want to learn a better poly creating and create a X-WING plane from Star Trek.

And now I'm stuck on beggining, on nose.

Here is what I done:

So I have a problem, look at this picture:

I want to create a vertex point's on red dot's on picture, but I want that those vertex automaticaly have a Y cordinates from green rounded vertex.

So far - I just use command "insert vertex", and then manualy copyed Y cordinates to all vertex, but this is not good way, it takes me long time.

X-Wing from Star-Trek? Get off the internets, noob!
You don't deserve to model an X-wing.

Regarding the vertex positioning, try "make plane" Y for each row, or snapping.

This is a cool project. You should also make a Vulcan lightsaber.

Regarding modelling techniques, look up box modelling, edge extrusion modelling and spline modelling.

Your big problem is your style of modeling. look up some poly modeling tutorials. You have WAY to many polys on that simple object. you will need to work on minimizing the number of polys when modeling. Get the basic shape and add in for places that you need more definition. for something like this, you can do most of curves with mesh smooth instead of that insane amount of polys.
