What software does make movie or reel.
show user profile  Speedy
Bear with me I am new to "CG Film making" I probably would say something that may not make sense to you, if so please ask.

I have been doing still render for LONG time, and recently I started to get intrigued about doing animation. I have learned few step making animation in 3ds max, and post it in after effects to create visual effects. I have already completed 6 different groups of animation that was done in 3ds max then posted in AE.Now I wanted to blend them together to make one movie or reel. Now which software does this?

Are there "Animation" package that does this from 3d program to effect program then to "last part of program"

Thanks in advance

So, you want to put a bunch of clips together into one long movie?

At the low end of the market, Premiere or any video editor, even Microsoft movie maker can do that. It can also be done in the videopost in max.

Yes, That's what I mean, 6 clips into one long movie...

Movie Maker is what I thought at first.. but question is it the best movie maker software? I don't really see much of cool effects such as black fade in/out.. Or be able to type text inside .avi and such. unless I am missing?? I just wanted to know what's best movie maker software that can be easy to customize, and that i don't need much of work on it.

I suppose There are some tutorial or example of someone doing animation in 3ds max, then AE or Nuke then movie maker.?Aren't there? I tried find that in Google I didn't come up with luck.

Agreed, and if Premiere is too expensive, consider this software, which is cheap and very useful, although not as "professional".

I ll have a look at that, thanks for the help guys

Edit: Recently I asked same question on another form, I was convinced...If I create movie out of 3ds max, getting effect out of After effect, There is no reason to get top-line video edit software such as premiere, Avid, Vegas, and etc. They are for serious movie/commerical editors that create raw videos unless I am pursuing for one.

I guess to begin with.. I ll go with WMM and After Effect, if I wish for more... I ll escalate video software into next level. So Guys again, thanks for helping
