What is the best choice here?
show user profile  lioric
I have three finger like mechanical joints that i want to control manually. but the rotations and movement need some limiting
Should i use a hinges constraint or wire parameters and sliders or a controller?

i don't know which is the best choice here.
i thing hinges are usually used in simulations cuz its in the helpers section.
Controllers can be a good idea cuz the structure is like fingers. But all joints need to be controlled seperately so may be a slider may be a good idea too i guess

help me choose what the easiest and best way of achiving this plz

if you are controlling it manually anyway then why do you need any of that?

manual in the sense not a simulation. but if i limit the angles i don't have to worry about exceeding the limits everytime i animate

hey that cool. Soontekk, wht if my object is twisted in a way that the rotation is not set to only one angle. can the hyrarchy panel fix that too?
