looks phallic

j/k - I like the wall art you have back there, it has good color and draws the eye, but everything else feels bland. The door is in a good spot too, maybe get rid of these pink obstructions in the center and close right, and light up that back hallway... also move that handbag thing out of the center of view

The spider thing isn't doing it for me, its way to dark, even on my bright screen. Prolly would have to redo the lighting or change the material

Yes, the tiger's ear in the artwork does look like someone's drawn a bell-end on there.

I'd start smaller with your scenes. I'm crap at rendering mainly due to 2 factors: lighting and materials.

If I were you I'd try something simple like creating some spheres, laying them out on a plane and adding some interesting materials and lighting. When you get that looking good go back to your room and fix.

good start. one thing that sticks out is the running water. Why is it running? there isn't a person there, so it looks out of place.

The stools look out of place. there isn't a bar to sit at, it is just a counter. Normally, if you had stools, there would be an overhang for them to go under. right now, your knees are going to be higher then the counter top. Also, stools normally have some type of foot rest on them when they are bar height

Add some small details. Like light switches next to the door. Maybe a towel on the counter. And something behind the doors or close the doors.

looking much better.

yea deff create all the small things, they will help it stand out

If you raised the seat up a few inches and moved it a bit left you could break the optical tangent that's being caused by the edge of the counter and top edge of the seat back (and right edge). Might look better to chamfer the corners of the footrest a bit, or just get rid of that stuff all together and put in a runner or w/e they're called (little decorative piece of trim wood against the wall)

I think if you brightened up the back hallway and made the light cooler (less warm) and slapped an ao pass in youd be pretty close to calling it

@ bolteon, im trying to play about on how interior company's would want their products advertising. i.e the island in centre of kitchen being the main item in a catalogue etc...

this is just popping out of my head as i go along as got no starting point which i seriously should have but then i dont have client work lol.

thanks digital3ds, i wanted the warm light 3500k just to try and make the scene less washed out. but then the scene may never look right due to in proper measurements as everything is scaled and the actual height from floor to roof is 3ft lol but then it was just a mess around from start

I think the scale is wrong ,the draws look way to big, the wood rail and the pattern on the wall looks too big but maybe this is because the room is too small ? oh and the bed looks like it needs some feet.

keep it up and I hope that was some help
