You should be able to plug that cable into any TV with a built in tuner.
Failing that, an old VCR will have a tuner built into it.

On a side note...

This thread made me feel old... and I was already feeling really old...

The other day a group of 7 year olds came into the fire hall for a tour.
We show a fire safety cartoon before taking them out to see the trucks.

I held up the VHS tape of "Sparky's ABC's" and asked if anyone could tell me what this is...

Not one of them could...

I remember when the VHS was on "tomorrow's world" as an invention that we would all have one day in the future.

ok, the coaxial is just the normal one right? now i do feel like an idiot, i couldn't actually plug this directly into my tv because there is no give in the cable, guess i just need some kind of extension then.

thats whats called an f connector on the end of that coaxial , I would say its CATV cable if it was normal TV you would find a UHF connector on the end , you can buy a thing called a barrel to extend the length by adding a barre and then a bit more cable. you may not get any Tv signal from it , as it maybe unpluged in the green box out in the street.

They weren't to know! It was a superior format to VHS. I think the foot-long cassettes weren't a good idea though.

BTW - The reason VHS won over Betamax is due to the fact the porn industry went with VHS.

Fact. Look it up.

No...the porn industry was NOT responsible for Bluray over HD DVD.......afaik.
