Website coding

Just wondering if anyone here can help.

I have some code which creates a drop down list from a line of text once clicked. In my coding the event calls for the java script when clicked. See below.

a href="javascript:changeOpenMenu('ul_three');"

Then once clicked a drop down list appears which has the option for links to other pages. My issue is that i would like the origional link to go to another page. So as well as doing a "a href" for the java script i would also like it to do a "a href" for another page.

How would i write the code so that it can work?

Cheers

I haven't tested this but I would try just making the normal line of text be a normal html link and attach a 'onmouseover' event to that link to cause the menu to appear.

Like this:

... <a href="someweblink" onMouseOver="changeOpenMenu('ul_three')" >adf asdf asdf asd </a>..
