I have a header image that has a background colour #111 and is saved as a PNG. Under the header image i have the main webpage background as a solid colour of #111

But here’s the kicker, in Firefox the header image appears brighter even though they are the same colour. But in IE they match perfect.

I imagine it’s to do with gamma settings within the browser causing the PNG to be brighter but how do i get around this?
