Water Droplets on a Rippling Balloon
show user profile  Strottinglemon
So I want to create a water droplet covered water balloon flying through the air, rippling as it does so, so I followed this tutorial:

http://cgi.tutsplus.com/tutorials/six-ways-to-create-condensation-in-3dsmax-scatter-parray-pflow--cg-5317

particularly the second method using the PArray system, which I like best (I tried all of them, though) and then applied a ripple effect and animated the phase so it looks like it's jiggling around. The problem is, the droplets of water stay still, they don't jiggle with the balloon. Any way I could stick them to its surface so they ripple with it?

Nevermind, I figured it out myself. I used the Mesher compound object on the PArray, converted it to an editable poly, and attached it to my balloon editable poly.
