walk cycle editing
show user profile  Deobald
hey guys! I finished my stickman animation, created a walk cycle, but there's a problem with it. At one point i wish to edit it (by working on his spine, neck, head) as to make him look back, but i can't find a way to make him look back in a smooth manner,i used autokey on 1 frame, but the motion is too fast, so i used another intermediate key,but that just makes him look back twice with the same fast motion. I used footsteps feature for the walk so there are keys set up already for every single frame,if i delete a key i lose the animation.I'd appreciate some help, thanks a lot, cheers!

Dont know if you have tried, but a solution may be to tweak the curve of your keys. By default, it is set to an easy ease, but you should be able to tweak it so it starts slow. You may have to lengthen the sequence to avoid sudden movements.

Good luck.
