Vray render subset
show user profile  andrewdavidyoung
Using mental ray production shaders you can render specific materials separately without having to waste time rendering the rest of the scene. You just drop the mr render subset into the lens shader and select which materials or objects you want to render.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to do that in VRAY. You can render masks out but i don't want just an alpha render i want the actual object the way it would be in the full scene.
