Vray - Removing noise in reflection pass
show user profile  RedStar
Hey guys,
So I am doing an animation and I get noise in it. I looked through my passes and its in the reflection pass.

What are the areas that I want to look into for removing this? I know my material subd is at about 40 so I think thats good.

From my understanding I want to modify the Adaptive DMC sampler, I think I have 1 and 12 now but that doesn't seem to be making it perfect.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't adjust the AA image sampler as you will be modifying the entire scene when you just want to fix one material. Up your material reflection subdivisions to 80 and see what that does.

What sorted it in the end out of interest?

Noise was on more than one material. However what I did do was bump up global subd multiplier from 1 to 3. Little longer render time but worth it.
