I'm confused now, what setting to change here to get a like mirror reflection?

And change the BRDF to Ward for metals or Blinn for non metals. phong is so 1990s

for metals in vray, I'd use the GGX BRDF, it's nice for blurry reflections.

If you've upgraded to 3.1 the GGX BRDF is apparently very good (from what I've seen on Grant Warwick's training).

Interesting Strat - you use Blinn for metals?

nope. i use phong generally, unless i specifically want anisotropy speculars. phong give that more 'oomph' to my specularity. i use phong so much in architectural mats to be honest, much more than blinn or ward.

i use blinn for more organic stuff and ward for fabrics. all else is usually phong.
