Vray materials question

Hello,

I am using 3DS Max 2012 and I just downloaded a VRay material fromhttp://www.vray-materials.de.
My question is how do I get it imported so I can use it? I found some explainations online but they are not very descriptive. I do have VRay set as my renderer. I am still a little new using 3DS Max so any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance!

you can open up the .mat file in the material editor once you go into material browser.

Thanks for the response. I got it figured out for the most part. The issue I am having is that some of the materials (for example this one: http://www.vray-materials.de/all_materials.php?mat=2783) doesn't seem to import correctly, it creates a new category but nothing is in it. Some of the other materials I downloaded work just fine, they bring in several different materials. That is the issue I am having right now.

drag it into the material editor and apply it as usual

assuming you know that part!

diffuse (1,1,1)
relfection (220, 220, 220)

Fresnel reflection falloff (off)




boom.
