vray interior
show user profile  rob@dynamic
Hi all,

Here's my final render of my first vray interior. Feel like im slowly getting to grips with vray now and am quite happy with this render. I shall render out a high res over night. So any final crits would be good...

also here's a close up of the rug I made using MultiScatter

I recognise the carpet technique, and I think it looks great!
You have obviously learned vray quite quickly.

My only crit is that the beams of light make it look a bit washed out.

Great stuff.

Thanks Nik. I used this technique for the carpet/rug thing...

Nice work again Rob!

Do you need the full version of the Multiscatter/forest pack in order to use this technique, or will the freebie version do it?

Thanks Mike, I'm not sure if it will work using the freebie to be honest. I have the full version.

You can do this using the free forest pack lite no problem Mike.

Nice, I like it.Brighten the sofa shifting the window light and you have a very good image.
Hm...the lamp and the plant look sloppy and poor. Put two Philip Stark pieces and you're good to go.

Yes, I was like wow multiscatter .. :D

As for the scene it's plain. But knowing you are migrating to Vray this is a great effort.

How is that 3d interview rendering going on

Thanks Girish. Yea I know the image inst perfect, but I'm quite happy with it as a learning step. Esp considering it's my first time using vRay for an interior.

Interview rendering went really well, I'm just waiting to hear back from them. Although I expected to have heard back by now, so not that hopeful:-(

On the plus side, I have managed to get myself some freelance work with a local architect, and looks like if I do a good job there's the chance for repeat business:-)
