does a vray dome light add a background?
show user profile  Boing
Never used it in the past but when I render a scene with a vray light set to dome, the render has no alpha channel. The scene renders with a white background (even with env set to black) and the subject can't be selected by it's alpha, 'load selection' in photoshop simply selects the whole frame. I've tried adding a vray alpha render element but it has no effect. I'm saving as an 8bit tiff with alpha channel selected.
