Vray Dirt - Picking up internal edges

Hey guys. First time I've ever ran into this issue and wanted to post here about it. Vray dirt is picking up internal edges of my mesh too as shown in the picture below... I welded all the verts together and double checked to make sure there weren't any open edges.

How do I avoid getting vray dirt picking up internal edges? Thanks!

Weird. Are the smoothing groups set up?

Post your vray dirt settings.

I'll post up the settings tonight. I ended up getting the results I was looking for after resetting the Dirt Material. Smoothing groups are driven by a smooth mod with the Angle threshold at 30 so those areas should all be grouped together.

Invert option checked maybe?

Yes it is. Now I feel stupid for now posting my settings when I created this post! Not at home right now so I don't have access to them. Invert option was checked because I was trying to map out a worn area on the object.

I guess I ended up deleting the bad vray dirt map and now I cannot seem to reproduce the results. All good in the hood. Should of posted my settings up in the first post. I was probably doing something stupid.
