Vray Atmosphere Blend Mode
show user profile  cbflex
What is the difference between the Gizmo Falloff Mode and the Gizmo Merge Mode? And also, what are the differences in the options within them?

Gizmo Falloff Mode has the options
Add Density to Falloff
Multiply by Density

Gizmo Merge Mode has the options
Overlap
Blend

I have a few atmospheric gizmos setup and I need them to blend properly. Unfortunately, the online documentation doesn't help me too much and I don't understand how my results are changing. I even setup a few teapots to work as Vray Clouds and I played with the settings to see the differences. I didn't find any... But when I work with more complex scenes, it makes a huge difference. Can anyone clear this up for me?
