need votes for tshirt design comp
show user profile  nemac
Hi there,

I've entered this t-shirt design competition for a local clothes shop (Hallensteins) here in New Zealand. Every May we celebrate NZ music month here and this year they've set this comp up for us. Entries had to include the music month logo and the rest is inspired by what NZ music means for us individually..

Anywho, this is my entry:

The competition finished yesterday and there are only 24hrs left to vote but the voting system is weird as it has been going on the whole time. Basically, entries that were submitted earlier have more chance to win as they would have received more votes. I submitted my one yesterday so I need some love~!

To view all the entries visit:

and to vote you have to sign up here:

My one can be found on page 1 about half way down. Its called 'heart of nz'. Any votes will be appreciated as the winner/winners are selected based on number of points. Thanks for your time! :)

i used to print T-shirts for a living....that thing would be a bitch. mainly the gradients on the outer edges.
any shading will have to be done in half-tone. i printed my own design at work one day and it was easy with just 5 basic colors, and no fading inbetween.
as far as the design goes, looks nice.

Yikes i didnt think about printability. Do you mean it would be a bitch costwise or will it just come out looking odd? There werent any instructions on the site that said it had to be black and white or any specific instructions for that matter except for including the logo. I think color is pretty essential though. I could get rid of that gradient too...

color and shading can be done but, yeah it'll cost more.

i like the outer ring of all the landscape, but the black and white target in the middle seems to contrast alot with it.

(\/) (°,,,°) (\/) Woop woop woop!
