Viewport crop zoom.

Anyone know of a script or a way to crop zoom the viewport. I am always working on high res images and careful tweaks to small sections is bordering on impossible. If I use the regular zoom feature the perspective changes and I can't see the correct final result.

I mean I can always get a bigger monitor but that seems a bit drastic! :)

I don't quite understand your problem, but you'll be very happy investing in a big monitor 22 inch widescreen is good and pretty cheap.

Does the Zoom Region Tool - accessed by clicking and holding the Field-of-View button - work like that?

hmmmmmmm. Do you mean when doing test renders ? or when you are modelling etc in the viewport ?

If its during test renders I just use the thing in the render dialogue.
