V-ray set up

Hi, i'm a beginner 3d artist. my Q. is how i can setup v-ray in my 3d max 2010

Hey.
1) You get it from Chaosgroup:http://www.chaosgroup.com/en/2/index.html.
2) Open up the .exe , unpack if necessary.
3) While installing, it will ask for your 3DS max Installation Directory, if it does not find it by itself.

To use vRay in 3DS max, you need to assign vray as the current renderer. (Rendering>Render Setup>Common>AssignRenderer, in Production and Active Shade as well).
To check if it's wokring, add some vRay light and some basic objects. Hit the Render button, it should work by the time.
