Ultimateplay Looking For Lead Visual Artist

So , our indie game studio is making our first commercial games and looking someone
experienced to team .
Project isnt paid job , its hobby and mean to be fun !
But like i said its commercial and everyone is getting his part of incomes .
Job is modelling .


- Good with animations
- Good making little movies
- Have steam

Game is 3d horror game .
We dont know yet will it be FPS or 3rd person , we will try both and then we choose .

Game is on the world under big epidemic .
New virus is started to kill people and then happends same thing what always ;D
I am still writing the story but its sttarting to be ready and i dont tell about it anymore :D

ManOfTheDead - why not say a few words about the game? As financially enticing as your offer is, (at least you didn't offer "stock"), you may have more luck recruiting if you get artists excited about the concept - which requires them to at least know what it is.

Hmmm..........I actually have enough "fun" already,....I would prolly be interested for I am used to getting money for working,....but I do appreciate the offer of "fun".

I'm sure you'll find some interested people here,.....Maxforums members are always looking for cool hobby projects to work on! Good luck!

Well , we think we will get little monies so youre welcome if youre interested .
We will sell game on steam and our website but it have steam cloud so it works via steam .

We programmer , we have one modeller and musician .
I have worked on several little games and few mods and this summer i was
summer jobs at finnish game studio .

I have experience in C++ over 2 years and i am Lead Designer and writer of game .

We are going to grow our team with 1 or 2 programmers .

If we get this engine it will be more serious because real prize of engine is about 10k-200k .

Why is stock in quotes, Matty ?

He could easily set up a company and divide stock amongst key risk takers - ideally with a shareholders agreement to protect the investment. Risk = reward , not simply salary in arrears.

That said, I understand your position on the subject.

Which is why you need to formalise, so it's stock, not "stock".

Its hard to do this, even if you do get a solid legal agreement, because you can't tell ahead of time who is going to have to make the largest commitment (in terms of skills brought / value / time taken) etc.

Most of the time, projects like this start with the best of intentions, with informal working agreements & end up getting canned because it takes too much time / team disagreements / it's harder than you first thought, etc.

You have a difficult sell here & I'lll be surprised if you get any takers. Still, who knows.

All these guys get paid for what they do. You want them to work for ... ?
