Tsoukalos!!!!

Tsoukalos's hair made forced me to model him.
still at very basic sculpting level. basemesh done in max.
very crappy strokes to outline his beard, eye bags, lips and cheeks.
just placed the original and legendary hair behind him to get the idea of the final compo.
need advice on the work guys.

K.. i have started the animation process in the face. Still no emotional mixout, but i believe the basic talk is done. need suggestions guys..

You shouldn't close the mouth entirely after each pause. Sometimes, yes, but often the lips stay apart until the end of sentences.

thanks guys for the awesome feedback. i tried to correct the weakness you guys pointed.
so i did the animation on the rest of the body + blinking. (emotional facial animation still not done.)
please do give me suggestions and point out my errors. thanks a lot.

Miles better, but his eyebrows need to raise too as he makes each gesture/widens his eyes.

Try saying those lines yourself with the same wild gesticulations - you'll find your eyebrows going crazy.

I'm not sure if he gestures with his hands the same way in the video, but generally in animation we try to stay away from twinning (both Left and Right sides doing exactly the same things). I would keep the gestures to only one hand (you could keep other hand down or up close to the body ready to gesture but not gesturing like the other arm is) and only bring up the 2nd hand for emphasis parts like TODAY we thinnk.... why we have the word MAGINC today.. ..... MAGICAL POWERS....... MAGIC AS SUCH.....

If you're going to keep both hands doing the same thing, then definitely have one hand a little closer to the body and slightly less open hand. Probably gesturing a little bit less than the other. Basically try to find ways to not have both hands doing same motion EXACTLY the same way.

getting much better! I think the "T" phoneme needs a little tweaking.

Have you seen the 3D effects on ancient aliens? it sucks. maybe you'll get a gig out of this ;)

Thanks a lot for the guidance guys. as harmonic01 said, I now did little offset between the animation of the two hands. it worked superbly!!!!!!!! now that robotic hand motion is so less i think. and about the both hands issue, unfortunately i have to go with the both hands, for its what he does all the time. and its like a trademark to him. and I made a hand closer to his body too. if it needs more adjustment, please do tell me. BattleMetalChris, now i animated his eye brows too. do tell me its enough or need more work. and i saw jareu's comment right now. will work on phonemes more.

Congratulations on re-creating this idiot's motions pretty well!

The top half of the face didn't move enough for me, but I think overall it's really quite good.
