tree animation
show user profile  stevey2shoes
Hi

I want to animate some trees blowing in the wind, and at the moment can only think that each individual leaf has to have a separate bone and key frame.
There must be an easier way but I don't know MAX well enough yet, how would you approach it?
Steve

noise modifier maybe?

He who says it cannot be done is interrupting the man doing it.

I'd use Flex modifier combined with a wind force

personally, I would grab a tree program, most tree programs have wind motion. I've used Onyx and Speedtree, both seem to have decent wind animation.
