Hi guys.

I'm calling this finished now, otherwise I will never finish it.

Hope you all like it, and thanks to everyone who has chipped in with comments and crits in my wip thread.

Looks great mate! Loved the changes you took on board, because when I first saw it I was sceptical :).

Very Nice work. My only crit is the benches seem to large. other then that, i love the fell of the image.

great work.

only crit is that large piece of paper on the floor in the foreground - my eye is drawn to it & I think - what's that about, when it's not really got anything to do with the scene.

edit: the bench thing - think the bit you sit on is probably a little too wide/deep.

Lovely work. I really like the smoke. Is that done in post?

I know you probably aren't interested in crits anymore since you're calling this finished, but I do have a couple.

The solid color below the train on the right looks a little odd; like there's nothing there.

I like how you've moved the woman further into the background, but now it looks like she is almost floating above the bench. It didn't look that way when she was in the foreground, so it must just be a perspective thing. Also, what's the thing protruding from her back/butt??? Something behind here, I assume. I went back and looked at your previous render, and it's there too, but I couldn't make out what it was in that one either.

Overall, it's a great piece. The atmosphere you've created is remarkable.

I really like it Rob. I think your other work is very clean and crisp (a good thing) and it's nice to see a variation in style - something with a lot more character. Speaking of which, are you going to try something more organic soon? A character mesh perhaps...? Go on!

thanks for all the responses guys. Really appreciate it.

I'm probably not going to re-render, however i will make some minor tweaks as suggested.

Coxy: yep done in post. It started life as a cloud, then just re-coloured, re shaped, and knocked the opacity back a touch

Mike: Yea I suppose it's about time i jumped out of my comfort zone, maybe i'll try something organic next?
