Maxforums Tournament 7 - Round 3 - Joey Parker Jr.
Joey Parker Jr.
I found this picture after I got my idea but my device will be mobil.
Wore more like a helmet.
Plus this device in the picture is much too efficient.

Oh, and it has a name: ABK-1000-M
The Auto-Buttkick 1000 Mobile device.

I am the proud owner of zbrush4.
In fact the Limited edition version. Comes with a fancy tin case. \0/
The idea in my head can't be accomplished without it.
So time to start looking through mrgrotey's Sea Turtle tuts and all zbrush tuts.
This will be fun!
The abk -1000 is quite large and you need a helmet and full body harness to wear it.
That's all for now.
Joey out!

To much typing, not enough renders. GET TO WORK! Only 3 weeks left! Funny topic btw.

Almost done with a project that has been going for a while now.
Then I should be able to devote my full attention to this.
Here's a zbrush sketch. I call it portrait of the artist as a young tomato.

Might I suggest "when bubblegum bursts" as an alternative title? :)
Have been trying out mudbox but I'm not very good with it. Do you use a tablet/pen or mouse only joey?

I have an old beige wacom GD 9x12. I've got it set up so I only use about a third of the working space.
It doesn't fit on my desk very well. I'd love to get a new smaller one.

I've just spent a day and a half trying to set up an ftp because I'm too much of an idiot to
realize all I needed to do was zip a folder. I also spent the weekend working on a project that has been POSTPONED indefinitely.
So I've decided to drink beer. And learn zbrush. And try and get this round going even though I'll never get it done in time.
Is this tourney round still on?

Offtopic, but... you looking for a buyer for that wacom? :P
If I understand correctly from the info I found, GD is just a intuos 1
I'm broke so I'm looking at cheap alternatives to buying a new intuos4 for the time being

That could work h. I need a couple of jobs to happen first but sounds good to me.
Here's a sketch of my 'vision' of the ABK-1000. (not sure what the engine does exactly)

Well don't count on it as deal done, but have in mind till when you decide to sell.
Oh and that engine would be efficient enough on its own to break your neck me thinks.
And would harming yourself qualify as torture?

"And would harming yourself qualify as torture?"
Yes, if you can't get the helmet off. D:
But, it's much too efficient with the big boot.
It would have to be a baby booty or something which would look stupid.
I'll see if I can come up with something else.
