Better than zremesher? Don't know. Yet to test and compare. But from the video it has some impressive realtime previews.

This is nice, seems a less nerdy/tech, more WYSIWYG than other methods.

I'd like to play with Quantum Human, maybe their approach is even better than this, they use some kind of "decoding" system to analyse the mesh.

followed all the instructions ( but wasn't able to get it to work - it says "Caught a fatal error: Could not create an OpenGL 3.3 context!"
Has anybody succeeded installing Instant Meshes?

I've two cards. Works like a charm on GTX 860M but wondering why GT 520MX fails - it's pretty old but not as old as not to support OpenGL 3.3.

Is there a way to define edge flow, or is it simply an arbitrary remeshing? 3dcoat's autotopo feature is one of the best I've used, with ability to define density and edge flow, etc. Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to use the Zremesher, so I don't know how it compares there.

Does zremesher work with point cloud data though? Or just dense sculpt work?

Zremesher does NOT work with broken meshes. Basically, this is better.

Did you find a way to keep border vertices? Zremesher does that and requires a lot less effort. And yes, you can suggest edge flow to the program.

That shit was killer but uh... yeah... I'll never use it. Give up too much control. Probably a great tool for modders and the like though.
