Any idea how they do that?
Here it`s a bunch of coloured balls that make up the logo, and respond to mouse interaction..
[edit]
Must be just some javascript thing..

I just came here to post the same thing! Did you see the 3D rotating sphere the other day in the logo? It was very clever.

yes, was cool, the Buckieball, I bet Google have some clever people working for them. Also they have sheep to cut the grass at their head office. Less emissions than lawnmowers, I like that.

Haha, I just spent the last hour or so looking up how they did it without a lot of luck. I understand it's just Javascript. But what part of that could you not do before html5?

Is this a troll thing?.. the google logo looks completely normal to me, regardless of using google.dk or google.com.
Terribly boring signature.

canvas - to dynamically draw the circle particle thingies.
It's just some javascript on a timer running a simple physics sim.
Using the mouse pointer location/movement as a deflector, innit.

I'm using chrome but I don't see anything. Do you need a dev version or beta? Or do I need to enable HTML 5 manually?

I couldn't see it, so I stood on my head and after a while the Google logo WAS made up of multicoured spots that seemed to swim around randomly. Works great till you get a nosebleed and pass out.
