The lighting is dull, and lacks punch. Other than that, it looks pretty good.

Thanks nick :) I'm tryin to go for a moody soft lighting sort of look but your right its a bit flat, I will play with the lighting a bit more and see what I can come up with.

I feel like if I walk towards the left of the image I am going to fall off the edge of the earth. The perspective angle is very strange.

*edit* the clock looks odd due to your very strange perspective.

I remember inxa's wife doing a render with a clock like that, doesn't look like the minute hand will make it past the 6 and 12 positions.
Other comments are good, floor needs shine

Main thing for me is the lighting, most seems really ambient and coming from the window, which wouldn't happen in a night scene. All the lighting would come from the practicals. Turn off the window light and what do you get ?

Thanks dave your right I got too much light coming in from outside so working on that now, as for the clock its just the wide lens setting thats made it look odd , Ive changed the camera angle now so it looks a lot better :)

thing in the roof's a skylight isn't it?
shouldn't it show the same lighting outside as the window has and a part of a building showing aswell?
the background of the city image makes me think the window is more like a recessed fish tank or aquarium- the window having the image on it with some lighting in the tank showing through it- the beige sky doesn't look good and the vertical things on the left look like creases or a corner of the aquarium
