Thinking Particles questions

Anyone around here know tp? as fx noted; cebas forums are sort-of... non existent

So, I'll repost my q's in here - maybe someone can help!

this might be an easy one, but I can only get collisions to work with the UDeflector operator, problem is:

I want to detect when my particles collide with an object so I can pass them into a new group

I have a "drip" setup, where particles fall from a helper - I want them to fall for a time, collide with some geo (a deformed sphere), follow the surface (like water), then drip off at the bottom

-- I've tried to use StdCollision condition, where I assign the sphere geo to a UDeflector and use the sphere as the node, but i can't seem to get the particles into a new group after any collisions happen

Is there maybe a better way to detect when particles collide with objects so I can pass them to new groups?

I *think* this may be what your looking for... ridiculous amount of steps as usual, this shit needs simplifying ;)

@Digs do you have an email addy ? I can send you links for all the TP tutorials all in one archive...143 tuts, around 6gb.

Turns out cebas has a very active/pretty large group on facebook. It was suggested to go there with questions instead of the cebas forums.. looks like ppl post there regularly
