Texturing a entire floor of 1300 sqft with a carpet texture

Hey,

I am to texture a entire floor with a carpet texture. The texture res is around 2000*2000
But now, for a large area it keep stretching.

Any solutions to make it look good and not stretched.

tile it with some other layers at different frquencies.

Also make up a subtle wear map so areas with more foottraffic look ever so slightly flatter.

Ap - Yep tried that, but it stretches :S Can't solve that problem

The answer definitely includes filter /other / offset, in my opinion.

Tiling texture that's stretching ? I think that should be fixed first. Have you " assigned mapping coordinates to the floor -> collapsed the mesh -> modified the mesh " or something similar ?

In which case you should re-apply the UVW mapping coordinates...
