Texture blur help.

Hello. I currently use ac3d to texture, because it was easier for me. However I am slowly learning how to texture in 3ds max, rather well thankfully.

However, I have noticed something that has bothered me for a while.

Not only from exporting from ac3d, but when I texture as well... it seems the image does not fit, and is stretched out a bit, as if the image is to small.

Its like when you have a small image in ms paint, and stretch it. It loses quality. I believe 3ds max views the image as too small.

Is there a way to fix this?
I looked around in 3ds max for a while (or else I wouldnt post) however failed to find a solution.
thank you in advance.

If you mean in the viewport:

Chose 'Customize', then down to 'Preferences'. Click on the 'Viewports' tab and in the Display Drivers section at the bottom click 'Configure driver...'

In the new window in the appearance preferences section make sure to have Match Bitmap Size as Closely as Possible checked in both Background texture size and the Download texture size. Also change to 1024 and 512 respectively.

If not, ignore the above :)

lol...unsure what viewport is sorry XD

what I mean is just looking at it regularly. Not through a render or anything, just looking at it through the 4 views (front, side, top, free, etc)

Yes, the views you look through are called viewports. :)

Follow he above instructions and you should improve the quality of the displayed textures.

i noticed in nearly all your models the arms are too long- you need to work to reference more- or better reference at least, get images of full length people for proportions
some nice guns there- would have been informative to have some wireframes though
