try opening the doc in google docs, and save as a pdf from there? under file go to "Download As," then PDF.

You could install something like Cute PDF, and then Print to pdf, I have never had any issues with this.

Terribly boring signature.

Error - unfortunately google docs requires me to sign up on the dotted line for a google account. no thanks.

TiMoN - unfortunately the freebee only converts 2mb files. mine is 15 mb.

But, i found thi online convertor, did the perfect job in under a minute :)

I use OpenOffice which is pretty good and export to pdf regularly and it works perfectly :) There are the occasional niggles with OpenOffice on the other hand, but it's generally good..

ah, no gmail account. Yea, then I'd try OpenOffice like Scotland suggested. If I have to write documents and don't have gmail, I'll use open office

Wait...

You wont sign up for a Google Account, but you will happily upload your file to a random 3rd party website that has 0 reputation?

I use https://www.easypdfcloud.com/ , I don't know what it does with custom fonts, but otherwise, it helped me a few time with the files not being fucked up.

Congrats, you found my signature.
