theres a lot more i need to texture, but these are the parts i have done. something seems to be missing, not sure what

Looks nice. Regards what`s missing, lighting/highlights are quite flat at the moment - i`d say kiss it with an ambient occlusion pass and get some reflections in there ( even very very subtle / blurred on most of the surfaces )..

ill try adjusting the lighting then. Theres no exposure control in these, whenever i use it, the matte/shadow shader becomes visible (gray), so, in order to get it to work, i had to disable E.C, which made me turn the light intecsity down. kind of in a pickle with the lighting

arial or two
those bullets look to be smaller than they should be- slip one inside the barrel and see if there's any gaps around it- could just be the view
ammo belt should have a guide to help it into the gun- you can see it on the right ref
rear sight camera
hydrolics and shock absorbers (for recoil) for the gun turret
gun turret
more wires and cables
i really like the track texture robot wars still going?

Yeah I agree with Dave, defo up the sub divisions for the lights.

im using MR. sounds like i need to fix the lighting, cool. thats what ill work on.

@ K-tonne the whole thing is modeled. ill try to get a render of the whole thing. Still trying to knock out the prob. with texturing. I cant seem to get my metals correct, there looks to be like 10 diff kinds of metal used in the ref image.

This is the entire model. it stills feels way to cg for some reason... cant figure out y. any ideas?

I think the largest parts that stick out to me anyways are the wheels, the scope/camera, the bin for the ammunition and the butt of the gun..

These elements don't seem to have enough wear and tear going on. They look almost too perfect (one of the main battles of making something look realistic)..

I would add some dust to them, some scratches or something.. I think the treads look very nice though.

All around, as it sits, it looks very nice, but I think you could go in and add some more various imperfections.

Edit: Also in the reference, it looks like the piece that is support the strand of bullets is a bit larger.. I barley notice it in your render... It almost looks like the bullets are floating perfectly in a straight line w/o any support..

It just might be the different angles (I know angles make a huge difference sometime).

main reason why it looks cg is your lighting. It's way too flat.
Second is your materials, it needs more details like scratches and bumps.

It needs better materials with higher levels of reflection, right now it looks like it is all made of rubber, then you need something for it to reflect and better lighting.

Alrighty, made some changes to the lighting and textures. Still looks like the buttstock material could b darker. what do u guys think

getting better remember when adding scratches and age to items to add it where it would be in the real world and not just in random places, ie where parts rub, where tools would catch when repairing, which parts hit the floor etc. this will increase the realness of the render/ model imho
