other than the fact that the concrete is way to shiney, I think it looks really good.

Interesting. good composition, which I often like about your stuff..... I like it.
The floor and steps look wet.
Back into the 3D with some gusto mate... good to see!

Thanks guys, I love the composition and design, unfortunately i cant take credit for either, the camera angle and placement is based on the reference picture i found for this building

going to try and work on the concrete a bit more :)
cheers

Nice choice of building mate. Its a cracker. I'm on the too shiny concrete wagon too. Other than that........perfect.

Here is a high quality render with reworked textures and lens flair! :D

I think the ground might still be a bit too shiny, if so i might fix it in photoshop till i can think of what else to do with this scene (just sat and waited 3 hours for the render to come through! :S)

Hope you guys like it (I switched to a 16bit workflow too to avoid the banding i was getting with the heavy post editing)

Here is a version much closer to the high contrast photo i used as a reference

Cheers

I really really liked it until i seen the reference lol - i dont mean that to be rude.

Your reference has alot of contrast which it seems your lacking in your final render. I love the camera angle, modelling, maybe the reflections are a little too bright, you can see some sort of vignetting around the light sources in the reference.

IMO its a great shot to pick and learn from, go for gold mate.
