swing-wing on F-14
show user profile  captain_roach
Greetings. It's me again.
I'm have finished an F-14 model. the body and the wings are separated because I'm planning to make a swing-wing movement on it. How do I make that swing-wing animation while the entire model is in motion (e.g rolling or diving or any other movements) ? What is the simplest way? And the steps?
Thanks.

(P.S. : Sorry if it will take long time or days for me to check back this post. Because I'm mostly busy with college and also it's hard for me to get a good connection. I'm writing this post during the time when there's a good internet connection)

link the wings to the body and just animate them :)

Put a dummy object at the pivot point and link it to the rest of the body. Then link the wing to the dummy. Animate the dummy rotating.

Should work, at least in my mind it does...

Wow ! It worked. I only had just to adjust to pivot points of both wings which are separated from each other, then link 'em to the main body and Voila !
Thanks, everyone for your help ! :)
