Nice :) Not quiiite photo real but nice looking. Id say too much lens distortion, the ends seem too blocky and unsmoothed too.

The black piano material seems wuite noisey/bumpy. Aren't they inherently massively polished and smoothed lacquer?

nice work mate. if i had to say anything i would say it seems a little too open like its just a wall, ceiling and floor. or a big massive room

Nice work mate! The only thing i'm not sure about is the direction of the wood grain on the piano case, would it go up-down, or around the piano. I have no piano experience though, so i may well be wrong! :)

Thanks all! nice to see crits flowing in so quick :)

Grotey - u mean lens distortion as in the FOV? or the vignette and DOF? yeah ur right about piano mats... I think I went over the top to add some texture cos I thought plain polish might look too flat...

DD - I wanted to keep it as sparse and simple as possible... but any idea as to what u might like to see in the scene in addition??

West - ummm hmmmm good point about the grain... I think I need to look at a few more refs regarding that...

nice image in general, maybe hide some of the wall in the distance with lighting..shadows I mean to frame it a bit more

also the antialiasing is a bit low (on the floor especially)

First thought - awesome, but then it's just a simple room. I guess you haven't modeled the piano as well.

That butterfly frame and the wall texture look a bit fake.

Quite good otherwise.

when i said too open i didnt mean add any more props. what i meant was the lighting etc looks like there is nothing else to it. so maybe like simon said end the wall going off to the distance and add some more shadows etc coming from the other walls behind the camera, etc

Looks great.
The fact that I can't see the back leg of the piano disturbs me.
It feels like it's defying gravity.

My only crit.

Wonderfully done. Scott Christian Sava
