how strict are turbosquid about copyright?
show user profile  Chris123643
i have just finished a model of my monitor that i plan to put on turbosquid, i have included the name acer as a logo just like it is on my desk, i got the logo from an eps on the net. If i put this on will they make a fuss because of the use of the acer logo? if so would i be able to change it very slightly and get away with it, say spell it aecr just have it in the same style, ive seen a few other brand names on there, but also heard that they dont allow it.

Why don't you just contact TS and get the correct answer?

I've seen people have to remove logos from work there. I've also seen logos on things.

I don't know what the rules there are, or indeed why I'm typing this.

Some brands are more prone to removal if the logo is visible, or the description and keywords contain anything that has to do with the brand.
I've had to remove stuff from my VW Transporter, to have it pass. Good thing it has many nick names ;)

- it's not TS who are dicks (this time) - it is the manufacturers.
