That looks great. I've always loved the look of stopmotion animation,, Regardless of whether it looks unrealistic when used in movies, I just love it because of the way it looks.

I am really looking forward to seeing where this goes.

Terribly boring signature.

Excuse my ignorance, but you say test renders... but that's real, right? As in, photos? Not renders...? Normally I'd just assume photos but I can't be too sure when it comes to your work.

Either way, this is lovely stuff.

I read "stop motion" in the title which I'm not particular fond of (just sort of creepy looking) and then I read "Luima" next to it so I was obligated to check this thread out.

Absolutely amazing work man. Reminds me a lot of the "Nine" movie. Looking great, and extremely creepy.

Looks incredible dude! Only thing that jumped out at me was the bump mapping on the hat at close distance. It looks a little lower resolution than some of the other maps (like the bone texture) and maybe the wood texture in the first shot looked a bit too flat/low res (I guess maybe it's the angle?). Apart from that, it's looking mental.

edit: How is Arion renderer btw? I saw a blog post about it a month or so ago with the guy swearing by it for speed.
