Maxunderground news unavailable

start 3ds max 2008 eror...license expired

and that's all....what can i do ? i have just reinstalling my OS,and no change..please help me fast.thank you.

I'd contact Autodesk when it comes to licensing problems.

the error says : your license has expired.you can no longer use this product.to purchase a new copy of this product,visit autodesk on the web........BUT it's the first time when i run max,after reinstalling the OS ...

Unless you formatted your HDD, then the old license file will still be there.

Find and delete your license file, and resubmit for auth.

i hormatted my C drive,where i have max......how can i change the code,the license or something like this..?

actually i just ran into this issue when installing max2008 on my machine after upgrading to win7...

Every time I get a new subscription from Autodesk and install it, it cancels the older versions that I had running previously. It actually makes business sense on one side. I am sure they don't want you going out and re-selling their software when you are done with it. It sucks though because when I build a turbosquid model I would like to be able save in older formats to be available to more consumers.
