Spline interpolation vertices smooth path
show user profile  LeonardoDanielll
Is there any way to automatically smooth the interpolation vertices from z height to other z height? This has to have a ramp look and doing it manually waste a little time.

wingin' it here, don't have max on this machine

you might just be able to select all the verts you want to effect except the first and last, and raise them straight up in z - insert a new edge loop somewhere below, turn on edge constraint, scale them (make them planar in z) so they are in a straight line **2**, switch to rotate - screen based rotation - get to an angle perpendicular to the line between point a and b, now rotate / clean up geo above the new line

or skew might work

or some less-winded method

after making planar, with the verts still selected, apply a 2x2 ffd, adjust control points

Wow thanks! Totally forget trying with the ffd.
