SpaceMouse vs Spacecontroller ?
show user profile  skan
Hello

Has anybody tried both 3DConnexion (Spacemouse Pro) products and 3DController products (3D Mouse Spacecontroller)?
Which one is better? more responsbile, more accurate, easier to use the buttons...
Not only for CAD use but also for everyday use as a generic mouse (dragging, rightclicking...) for somebody with a aching wrist.

They look too similar though they are supposed to be different companies.

If you remove the [IMG] and [/IMG] tags, the pictures will appear.

I have a 3DConnexion SpaceNavigator, and I love it. I've actually got two so I don't have to be without one.

Never heard of the Blackline one, it looks like a straight forward copy of 3DConnexion 's Space Pilot, and they are both practically the same money.

I expected Blackline to be what Monoprice Tablets are to Wacom, a budget version of an established product...very surprised to see it at almost the same price.

I would go with 3DConnexion, tried tested & more ergonomic design.

I strictly use my wacom for 3D now and love it. No "specialty" device (although Wacoms technically are specialty devices I suppose, but are more common than 3d mice I think).
