Ok, I'll bite. Lets talk about g@y sports.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rounders
"Rounders is a game played between two teams each alternating between batting and fielding. The game originated in England and has been played there since Tudor times with the earliest reference being in 1745. It is a striking and fielding team game, which involves hitting a small, hard, leather-cased ball with a round wooden, plastic or metal bat and then running around four bases in order to score. Especially amongst girls, the game is popular in the UK and Ireland for schoolchildren."
Changing subjects, how come we seem to have invented most games out there (with the exception of egg-carrying), but we're cr@p at all of them ?

We are in the top few in darts and dominate rowing.
But other than that, we suck.

The Onion scriptwriters probably heard about Gaelic Football and assumed incorrectly it was some form of camp soccer type game. Can't get the staff ...
@strat - not sure dancing (of any form) counts as a sport. It's more a performance art. That said, you're right, they're both g@y.
Nice to see something approaching normality in Iraq for a change.
Wrestling: g@y. Though that's just a performance art too.

Its taken very seriously by the locals though. ;)
We're good at shooting events too. Although struggle to practise some due to 'new labour's' gun laws. But lets keep this light and not get into that. :)
