The songs you wore your cassette tapes out listening to (lots of tube vids)
show user profile  mrgrotey
I just found this turtle music video via a completely unrelated toobe vid, it was one of my all time fav songs at the time and one of those ones you just new every single word to. I thought it might be nice to get you posting up the songs you used to listen to over and over again when you were a young chap/lass to the point of wearing out those old audio cassettes :)

Heres a few of my old favs (embarrasing yes, thats kinda the point)

Greatest song ever?

Who didnt love this one

I used to have a huge crush on the girl near the start who dances side-on one her own, she was hawt :)

Some proper moves in this one =D

Wow never realised how hot these were at the time :D

Also thriller but didnt really think it was needed to post that one as its been done to death

There was also a really shitty Terminator song that I had on some Now 11 compilation album that I used to love, proper cheesey choon. Cant seem to find out what its called though :(

maxwin: heh, nah it was MUCH worse than that, I think I remember a guy on a bike with a dodgy fake backdrop doing arnie impressions saying 'I'll be back' throughout the song at opportune moments, it might have even been called I'll be back but I cant seem to find it

Wow, it must be either time or location, but when I was a kid we had a pretty different set of common hits everyone liked.
Can't touch this might be included in those, I heard of walk like an egyptian but was not a hit back then, and I never heard about the rest.
What time period are we talking about? I stopped knowing common hits at around age of 12-13, which was '99 or so.

Here are what I remember being hits when I was some 10y/o

I actually didn't know enough english to understand all of it so I sang how I heard it :P

This one I knew word-to-word

@maxwin, well then it might be time period too. As I said, never heard of most of the songs grotey posted, and I remember the songs I posted as being hits back then

Wanted to find the Family Guy spoof of Will Smiths raps, but there's only one version on youtube, and it's been "chipmunked"... I am not a happy bunny.

Society is slacking.
