Nice work Seth

Not many here seem interested in any zb or sculpting stuff i'd say
Many viewers, not many speakers

Posting sculpts on the zb forums isn't an option either, the level of work there is near ridiculous (in a good way)..

Nice start though, gogo post more!

Well, for me, I am interested, but can't sculpt and have no idea how the tools work, so I just sit and admire these awesome works you guys create.

i know Nik, you're part of the select group that make posting here worthwhile

sometimes i see posts about inflating gonads getting 3 million replies in 8 minutes and posts of real artists like seth getting none... making me wonder about the meaning of life, the universe and everything really

i am fully aware that i myself would be posting in the gonad thread while ignoring true art myself.. nobody needs to point that out, thx :)

soontekk: o shut up already :) Zbrush forum is idd fucked up!
bonzepeet: Z4R2

Believe it or not I am working on this model. I'm currently working out the hat in detail. The current render is just a concept, I'm redoing the entire thing part by part.

Anyone know how to make a nice rope looking brushstroke? I found this but I don't know how they do it. I tried it using 'roll' but didn't get such nice results.

Does anyone hove some good alpha's I can use for rope like patterns?

yeah I know about the downloadcenter at pixologic, I just didn't find what I was looking for. I'll give it another shot and try that brush Manny suggested.

I think I'll have to pimp my machine now I'm back at sculpting. I'm still on WinXP 32bit and the 3.xGb RAM limit is a bottleneck.

I`ve been having a lot of trouble resending password etc over at zbrush central - anybody else had this? Not getting any emails from them after resetting etc.. Even tried registering a new account under two separate email accounts and still get no confirmation or anything from them..

It`s annoying as a lot of the tutorials and other stuff that comes up when searching zbrush stuff on google is ZbrushCentral and have to be logged in to view..

you wanted lazy mouse i think
roll just tiles the alpha in the direction you're heading while lazy mouse kinda averages the direction to minimalise shaky hands
making your own brushes is easy too- when you know what certain controls do of course
sometimes it's as easy as making a shape in max, importing into zb, getting an alpha grab and using that as an alpha on a cloned standard brush (with lazy mouse turned off which catches me out sometimes-)
loads of tuts around for this
