Hi!

I'm new to this forum, but thought that you would like to see some of these sample animations we have made:

"Everyone can cook": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-LlLBJfy7A

"Karaoke": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0urnjY0MNDY&NR=1

"Morris Mini 1967": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGGJqiKXRTU

More can be found under same account in YouTube!

They are rendered quite nice. the animation is rather wooden and unnatural though particularly in the cheese one, god knows what that was all about lol. And why was the morris mini flying? not much explanation there.

The cooking one was the best I think.
All round nice work :)

Thanks for the input :) The cheese one is just a first test of using CAT tool of 3ds max and also testing different textures. The story is a bit weird, I know, lol. There is this town that only different types of cheeses live in, so called "cheese town" and the sherif of the town is scared of singing. He can't sing to even an empty audience (only the fly was in the room with him). In the end he is arresting this blue cheese that has just robbed a store...Animation here is a bit robust, that is true.

Morris Mini video is testing different types of lights and backgrounds and also Mental Ray renderer. The car is flying in the end, because we have a tv commercial here in Finland that has 3D animated reindeer flying in the same type of sky and it advertises Finnair, so many people here recognise the scene.

The cat thing is testing hair and also clothes simulation.

Here is also some of our 3D models. This one is called "Finnish Ironman" :) In the last picture you can see that he is starting to bald a bit on top of his head, but he is still a superhero, lol.

And finnally some detailed images of the morris Mini 1967 that is in the animation in my previous post. There is some experimenting with different lights and rendering settings in these images.

The animations were ok, but as grotey said a little wooden. The cheese one makes no sense to me at all. The min looks a bit out of proportion.

You should have a look at unwraping, it will help your materials. You are just making things shiny at the moment, not the answer to everything, the mini paint needs work.

I like the diffuse on the ironman head, thats your best texture. Work on the suit.

allround good work, keep tweeking
