Smoothing a curved surface without manually tweaking each vert.

I have a rounded surface on a model that has some pinching issues due to edges being too close together. I was wondering if there was a more simpler way of just selecting the surface and doing something that will average out the curve etc to make it smooth? I will edit the verts one by one if need be but, I was hopeing there was a simpler method?
