Sine wave with spline
show user profile  3joez
I bet somebody here it's faster than me figuring out how to draw a sine wave with a spline.

Simply trace it, or try this script...

Snap circles side by side, join them all together and delete the top and bottom segments from each one then weld?

Make an even sided zig-zag a letter "M" or "W" with splines...grab the verts.....fillet...done.

If you want a long one you could make a rectangle first that's x by xy long (divided in even segments of length x/2) then use snaps to draw a line between every second segment), then convert to all vertex's to bezier and, while all selected) drag the handle to x/2+1 segments.

Though I would go with Scotland Dave's solution.

Shame the Star spline shape can't be laid out horizontally, would be perfect for fast uniform waves.

I was hoping for a script solution but then I did it the lazy way with wave modifier. Thanks anyway guys!
