Simple question
show user profile  LOL500
So I created a bunch of splines and attracted it together and extrudes it. So now I have something like a irregular fence. Now, How do I make a roof that perfectly covers my fence?

I`ve tried cap holes but it doesn`t quite work.

1 more thing, boolean makes a hole in your object, but that hole can only be the shape of a standard primitives, right? or can the hole be the shape of an editable poly?

Here is the image:

The one selected is the one after I used cap holes.
I just want to put a lid on the first my object. Like fill the hole.

This reminds me, how do I post pictures from secured links here?

First question: pictures please, thats too vague.

Second question: you can use any poly object not just primitives. but boolean in max is shite. and nearly always messes up leaving loads of clean up work after so be warned.

You want to make a roof which can cover the shape you have created.

If it is converted to poly, select the edges the outer edge, then click on create shape from selection and chose linear if linear don't work then chose smooth, after that you will have the same line(spline)of the thing which you have created then apply extrude or editable poly, see if it works:D
And sorry for my English :p
